Multilateral project proposed is focused on literature. Students (over 14) will choose and contact living authors in their countries and, within two school years, organize six meetings with them. Through the meetings, students will experience the literature live and possibly get inspired to read more. Further, they will gather original autographs, prepare exhibitions at their schools and also share information with their international partners during project meetings. Through the project, students will familiarize with different literary genres and theory and will also create their own texts. They will also adopt methods of critical reading. Moreover, our partnership would like to increase the interest in reading and literature from an early childhood. That is why we plan to cooperate with preschools and work with the children at the age of 5 or 6. Our students will write a fairy tale in their native language and read it to them. Then they will translate it into English so that all participants can understand it. This will have a lot of positive effects. Our students will improve their English as well as their literature understanding and skills. In this way they can also motivate the youngest generation to read and appreciate literature. This project wants to provide equal opportunities for all students no matter what their social or economical backgrounds are. We believe that participation in this project will enable each school to develop successful partnership in Europe and let students to improve their skills, make them develop knowledge and understanding for diversity of European cultures and languages and help them appreciate the value of each nation within European Union.
